A LITTLE HELP
Frequently asked questions.
The useful things to know about Cool Creator.
Getting started
What is Cool Creator?
Cool Creator is a place to collect and share product recommendations. Explore public curator pages, follow people whose taste you like, or become a curator and build your own page.
Do I need a public profile to follow people?
No. Your member account and following list are private. You can follow curators and see their picks in My Feed without creating a public page.
How do I find and follow a curator?
Use the search in the header or open Discover curators. Visit a public page and choose Follow. You can manage the people you follow in My Curators List.
How do I create my own public page?
Choose the option to become a curator and review the permanent account upgrade before confirming. Then use Curator Studio to add your public details, collections and products, and publish when you’re ready.
Your page and picks
What is a collection?
A collection groups related products on your public page—for example, your desk setup, favourite clothes or creator tools. Create and edit collections in Curator Studio.
Can I change the order of my collections and products?
Yes. Use the collection move controls in Curator Studio to move a whole collection up or down. Products also have reorder controls within their collection.
What should I put in a product link?
Use the destination you want visitors to open, such as a product page, your shop or your own affiliate link. If you have a promo code or an automatic link discount, add the actual customer offer in the offer fields.
Do I have to add a price or discount?
No. Price, brand and special offers are optional. Only add a discount that customers can actually receive; the commission a company pays you is not a customer discount.
How do I share my page?
Choose Share on your public profile or Share your public profile in Curator Studio. Depending on your device, you’ll see its sharing menu or options to copy the link and share it.
What happens when I delete a collection?
Deleting a collection also deletes all the products inside it. Review the confirmation carefully before continuing.
Partnerships and progress
What are Curator Resources?
Curator Resources is a directory of companies and programs you can explore for affiliate links and creator partnerships. Open a card for application details, commission information and regional restrictions. Approval and final terms are set by each company.
I already have an affiliate link or code. How do I add it?
When signed in as a curator, open a resource and choose I already have a link/code. Pick an existing collection or create one. We’ll fill in some product details for you to review; add your own link or code and save to finish.
Does adding a resource enrol me in its affiliate program?
No. Apply directly through the program’s application link. Adding a product to your page does not create an affiliate account or generate your personal referral link.
How do achievements and XP work?
Achievements reward milestones such as discovering picks, following curators and building your public page. Curators also have follower, visit and click milestones. XP is awarded once per achievement, and earned milestones stay with you after edits or unfollows. See Achievements for each goal and its progress.
Are profile visits and clicks the same as sales?
No. Studio insights show recorded profile views and link activity, alongside your current follower count. Views and clicks do not confirm a purchase or earnings. Check your affiliate program’s own dashboard for those results.
Privacy and account settings
What is the difference between my nickname and display name?
Your account nickname is private and is used within your account. Your curator display name appears on your public page. Your public username identifies your page and forms part of its address.
Do I have to share my location?
No. Location is optional. If you add it to your curator profile, it is public, so only share what you’re comfortable displaying.
Can I temporarily hide my public page?
Yes. In Settings, choose Hide profile. Your collections and products remain saved, while your page, picks and uploaded images disappear from public browsing. You can publish again later.
Is deleting my curator profile the same as deleting my account?
No. Deleting your curator profile removes its collections, products, uploaded images and followers. Your account, curator status, following and earned XP remain. Full account removal is a separate request in Settings.
Can I use more than one sign-in method?
You can manage connected sign-in methods from Settings. Methods connected to the same account lead to the same following, achievements and profile.
